1. About this cookie policy
This cookie policy (the ”Policy”) explains how Final Key Interactive AB, reg. no. 559511-2219 (”we”, ”us” or ”our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on https://www.finalkey.se (the ”Website”). The Policy describes what cookies are, the types of cookies we use, the legal basis for their use and how you can manage your choices. This Policy is a standalone document and does not form part of our privacy policy regarding the processing of personal data.
2. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your device (computer, mobile phone or tablet) when you visit a website. Cookies enable the website to recognise your device and remember information about your visit, such as your settings and how you have navigated the website. Similar technologies, such as pixels, local storage and SDKs in mobile applications, are subject to the same principles as described in this Policy.
3. Legal basis for the use of cookies

The use of cookies is governed by two sets of rules that apply in parallel.
The Electronic Communications Act

Pursuant to Chapter 9, Section 28 of the Swedish Electronic Communications Act (2022:482) (the "ECA"), which implements Article 5.3 of the EU Directive on privacy and electronic communications (2002/58/EC), data may only be stored in or retrieved from your device if you have been informed of the purpose of the processing and have consented thereto. Exceptions apply to cookies that are strictly necessary for the transmission of an electronic communication, or that are necessary to provide a service that you have expressly requested (for example a login function or a shopping cart).
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

To the extent that cookies involve the processing of personal data, for example by identifying your device, analysing your behaviour or creating profiles, such subsequent processing must also have its own legal basis under Article 6 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) (the ”GDPR”). We specify below which legal basis applies to each category of cookies. We do not rely on legitimate interest as a legal basis for such subsequent processing where the collection of the cookie itself requires consent, so as not to undermine the protection that the consent requirement is intended to provide you.
4. Categories of cookies we use
Necessary cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the Website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are normally only set in response to actions you take, such as logging in, filling in forms or submitting an application via our website, and are not used for marketing purposes. Necessary cookies do not require consent under the ECA, as they are necessary to provide the service, information or function requested.
Functional cookies

These cookies enable the Website to remember choices you make (such as language or region) and provide enhanced and more personalised features. Functional cookies require consent under the ECA. To the extent the processing involves personal data, the legal basis under the GDPR is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
Analytics cookies (statistics)

These cookies enable us to count visits and traffic sources so that we can measure and improve the performance of the Website. They help us understand which pages are most and least popular. Analytics cookies require consent under the ECA, and the legal basis under the GDPR for the subsequent processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
Marketing and tracking cookies

These cookies may be set by us or by our advertising partners and are used to build a profile of your interests and show relevant advertisements on other websites. They uniquely identify your browser and device. Marketing cookies require consent under the ECA, and the legal basis under the GDPR for the subsequent processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
Recruitment cookies

In connection with our careers page and application process, cookies may occur within the existing categories above: session cookies to maintain your application flow (necessary), cookies to track the origin of an application, for example a job advertisement or campaign (functional/analytics, requiring consent), and any cookies from integrated recruitment platforms (third party, requiring consent). Cookies may only be stored in or retrieved from your device if you have been informed of the purpose and have consented thereto, except where necessary to provide a service you have expressly requested. Your consent to non-necessary cookies does not affect your ability to submit an application.
5. How we obtain your consent
When you visit the Website for the first time, a cookie banner is displayed before any non-necessary cookies are placed on your device. In the cookie banner you can:
accept all categories of cookies,
reject all non-necessary cookies in a manner equally as easy as accepting them, or
make individual choices per category of cookies by clicking Manage settings or the equivalent option.
Your choice to accept, reject or customise cookies is saved and applied during future visits until you change it. We do not request consent to more cookies or purposes than what is relevant to the actual functionality of the Website, and consent to a category of cookies is not a condition for using the Website's basic functions, unless otherwise clearly stated.
6. How to withdraw or change your consent
You may withdraw or change your consent at any time by: clicking the link for cookie settings found in the footer of the Website and adjusting your choices, or deleting existing cookies via your browser settings, which means that you will be asked for consent again on your next visit. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and it does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before the withdrawal.
7. Retention period
Different cookies have different lifespans. Session cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a predetermined period, or until you delete them yourself. 9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time, for example as a result of changes in legislation or changes to the cookies we use. The latest version is always published on the Website, indicating the date of the most recent update.
10. Supervisory authorities and contact
10.1
The Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) is the competent supervisory authority regarding the requirements under the Electronic Communications Act for the storage of and access to information in your terminal equipment. The Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) is the competent supervisory authority regarding the subsequent processing of personal data under the GDPR.
